Blackwater
A series of prints inspired by formations of wooden stakes used for erosion control in Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. The works seek to create a visual musicality from the rhythm of the lines, the geometry of their forms, the tension between natural and manmade elements, and the echo of the images by their reflections. Other images are inspired by the fauna of Blackwater.
